How I spent my Sunday night

So after a small amount of difficulty of finding her house, I picked up Ess and we were off to the drive-in in Dillsburg. I had never been there and she had never been to a drive-in so it was a new experience all around.

Upon arrival, it was like rolling into the past. This was the classic drive set up. Speaker boxes on poles positioned so that each car had it's own. They were pumping 50's music from a sock hop through them which made up both laugh more and more with each successive song played.

Valiant was the first movie. This was just a filler to keep the animators busy it seemed to us. Pigeons during WWII voiced my british actors, nuff said. Then the intermission began. This just added to the nostalgic feel since the cartoon countdown looked like it belonged with rocky and bullwinkle and underdog. The sexual innuendos were everywhere. After they were over Skeleton Key played. Not an awesome movie but it did keep up guessing for most of it. Oh and Kate Hudson looks like a monkey, a hot monkey. It was fun though and I'm sure we will make a return trip at some point.

After that, we headed back toward the east shore, because I forgot I had directions, in a very exploratoy fashion. We eventually got back and made a stop at Wal-mart to putz around for a while since neither of us wanted to go home. We discussed the stunning career and assets of Angelina Jolie while rummaging through the dump bin DVDs.

After we were done there we drove some more and ended up driving back our old HS. Nothing has changed, it looks very much the same as before. We went on to park next to a cemetary which we then entered on foot.

We wandered around while she insisted she could find a passage to a park which we eventually did find only after we got back in my car. Anyway it was getting very late and both of us seemed to be seeing things for various reasons. We had been in there for well over an hour when we noticed a house which we had to have walked past to get where we were. Neither of us had seen it until this point. We then came upon an open grave, which is freaky at 3 am. She got giddy, I had inappropriate thoughts but did not act on them.

I dropped her off at her house and we called it a night. I did not get home til 4 and I have to say I had a great time. First time in a long time. Hopefully I'll get to see her again soon.
