The perfect setup
I went to the Hershey Library Book Sale today and it was weird the events that took place, like I had planned then out or something.
I arrived around 2pm and drove around looking for a space to park in. Being that it was a Saturday and the sale was going on, there were none. So i went and parked at the high school right next door whose parking lot was not very far from the library. I was the only one to see this parking lot I guess. I was the only one in it.
The I wandered around thousands of books and found 2. Two books what the fuck is that. I've never heard of such a thing at a book sale before. But alas I settled on these 2, bought them and walked out. Just then the fire alarm sounded and I saw that they had a few tables set up outside. Stupid move on their part. I looked at these and found a few while the people inside the library came out seeing as how the alarm was of the fire variety.
Rather than having to try to explain that I had already bought these 2 books even though I had no receipt or bag, and I would like to purchase these others, I just took my extra few books I found and walked back to my car. That's right I stole them. Whatever, I just started walking and did not look back. Got in my car and left.
I think this is the perfect setup because well somehow I timed it so that as I was exiting, I mean the split second I crossed the threshold the fire alarm went off. Then in the confusion of people exiting the library I could have casually walked off this the books I had found. Got in my car and no one could have blocked the only exit from the library to confront me since I had parked in a separate parking lot altogether that exited onto a completely different street. To me it seems like an orchestrated plan or perhaps I have watched too many overly involved heist movies.
