went to watch the penquins do it
Ok so it was a children's film so they did not show any avian penetration but the foreplay was there. some was off screen but that did not stop me from filling in the rest in my mind. Watching penquins brave the cold to raise their kids was not that bad. Sorry to say not all of them make it. Does expose you to the unseen struggle of the frosty birds and makes you wonder how the crew held up during the filming in the antartic wilderness.
Red Eye was pretty decent. Reminded me of my problems with flight travel. It had my attention so much that I did not want to get out of the car to go pee becasue i knew i would miss something. Cillian Murphy can be kinda creepy, but i hear that he is hot so i guess it's ok.
The drive-in was packed this time. So much so that the geriatric golf cart nazi told me to move my car so that 2 cars could fit inbetween the pole with speakers. I did what was done in days of yesteryear and pulled the speaker off the pole and put in my car. We kicked back with our subway subs and MD 20/20 and waited for the movie. The MadDog was her idea not mine, the idea of flavored paint thinner came to mind.
She continued to warm me about drinking too much. I did pace myself but finished the bottle shortly after the 2nd movie started. As usual it had little effect. She still had prolly half a bottle when we left the drive in.
We found another cemetary to wander around in where she finished her drink and was laying on the ground with in 20 minutes like i knew she would be. She got up and we walked some more. Fleed from imaginary hornets she claims to have seen, found another open grave covered with boards and i nearly stepped on a skunk/groundhog/rabbit/cat/noctural creature. not sure what it was but it did not run away til i was about 3ft from it and i could no see it cuz she had the flashlight.
After some time we made it back to my car, where she had to lay down to keep things from spinning. me thinks she should not have finshed the bottle. we sat there and talked for quite some time. then i took her home and called it a night.
wonder what will be playing next week.
