I am NOT a mover...
... but compromise is possible. I helped my friend move today. He had to find a new apartment he could afford after him and his fiance broke up and she moved out. What was to be moved today was a loveseat, a couch, and a 50'' big screen tv as well as various little shelves.
To make this short the highlights are as follows:
1) The loveseat was rolled off the truck and settle up against a tree to stop it from continuing. Bark, leaves and other berries lovingly attached themselves to it.
2) I almost saw a tire iron get thrown through a sliding glass door while trying to figure out how to get the loveseat and couch in the new apartment. I will admit the glass was very transparent.
3) While getting the TV out of the truck we managed to trap my friend's dad's hand under it. It was quickly recitfied but he himself was the one who asked to have it moved to where his hand was at.
Each event was a good larf, you should have seen it.
