The Far Away Land of Seattle

Here is a list of the things i enjoyed about my trip: staying with friends for a week, sushi, moroccan food, tacos, elliot bay, wine, beer, berry pizza, italian food, meeting new fun people, hand turkeys, decapitated rat, original NES, sudoku, Family Guy, TMNT, the "Fuck You, Drink!" game, twister, oh and can't forget the resurgence of the warning clap.

This i did not like: Delta's incompetence, my hot dog in a flaky crust, having to heard more about knitting than i would have liked, 2 uninteresting in flight movies, the constant cold and the wet.

Leaving to come home i was patted down by security since the zippers in my pants set off the detector too many times. I also was baffled by a guy with no hands or feet use a cell phone. I mean how did he do it? I don't know! I got to Atlanta early but then had my connecting flight delayed over an hour. There was the tall brunnette that i wish i had exchanged more words with. The more i thought about it the more i realized that perhaps i was supposed to meet her. She was not even supposed to be in Atlanta, she was supposed to be in Cinncinatti. She also sat across the isle from me on the flight to HBG. She did manage to rush off the plane and disappear but due to my issued when arriving at my final destinations, i got lost trying to find the shuttle to my car. I crossed paths with her again. that was my last change and i blow it as usual. she goes to school in Texas, i use that as my excuse to justify it to myself but i know it is flimsy and flawed at best.

when i got home my mom hugged me, yes she waited til i came home to go to bed.. this has not happened since eve and phaedre prompted me to do so a few years ago. my mom explained how she has not been sleeping well because she has been thinking about what i was doing all week. she was glad i was home and told me i can never go again because it was too stressful for her. trust me, this will not be the last of my travels.
