Stuff
We all knew VH1 could not leave well enough alone. We all thought that they had driven the I heart *random decade* into the ground. Fear not everyone, it's ain't over yet. Starting in October I believe they unleash I LOVE THE 80s 3D. Yes that's right it seems like we will all be losing another minimum of 10 hrs of our lives in recalling those years.
Nip/Tuck starts on Tuesday. I have been watching the previews on FX for the past few weeks and can barely contain myself. Makes me miss the days when we would sit around and watch several episodes back to back eating cheap leftover pizza or waiting for some delivery of food.
Ess informed me of a music video directed by Jhonen Vasquez. It's "SHUT ME UP" by Mindless Self Indulgence. I think she described it as live action JTHM. If she didn't than I am right now. It not as simple as that but it gives you the general idea.

quatro de fantastique
Me and Ess went to a strip club. Fun was had, more so for those who are not financially challenged as we currently are. Some of those girls i could swear could have eaten out of their vaginas if they had utensils on the ends of their platform shoes. Also saw a guy almost lose his toupe because of girl rubbing her ass on it.
After that we saw Fantastic Four. Not much I can say about it except that it would make a decent drinking game. The 'burns' just kept coming. We were the only ones in the theater. That was prolly the 3rd or 4th time that has ever happened to me.
We then drove around and ended up at a playground with broken glass strewn about.
Infinitely better than sitting on my ass watching tv or a DVD.

my niece is too smart for her own good
So my niece has been having problems at school. That is to be expected when starting school i guess, especially all day kindergarden. She cries for one reason and another but today was the worst ever.
She had gone to kindergarden for 3 weeks now and has already had to be picked up and brought back by the police. She managed to hatch some escape plan, whether intentional or not to begin with, that go her outside of the school. She managed to travel a mile if not more before she was tracked down via phone calls to the police.
This has left all of us speechless. Every new person that hears this story, and subsequent details that i need not list, have no idea what to do with her. Kelly and Chris have decided that she may have been inspired by something on tv so have immediately limited her viewing to strictly cartoons and whatever is on PBS.
I see this as a possible sign that there will be trouble down the road. Days, weeks, years, can't really say but I have a feeling this ain't over.

so it happened again
Ess knew better than to "race"/out drink me. She saw how little effect it had on me the first time but she decided to beat me by downing her bottle before I had finshed mine. Oh how she went on to regret that.
So there we were in the middle of some woods, me holding her hair. We were quite a ways from my car too. Good thing I can hold my liquor because we would have been there a lot longer otherwise.
The next day she swore she would never drink again. Who hasn't made that promise at some point or another.
Does anyone else see the similarity I do? Holding a tall brunnette's hair because she drank as much as I did.

went to watch the penquins do it
Ok so it was a children's film so they did not show any avian penetration but the foreplay was there. some was off screen but that did not stop me from filling in the rest in my mind. Watching penquins brave the cold to raise their kids was not that bad. Sorry to say not all of them make it. Does expose you to the unseen struggle of the frosty birds and makes you wonder how the crew held up during the filming in the antartic wilderness.
Red Eye was pretty decent. Reminded me of my problems with flight travel. It had my attention so much that I did not want to get out of the car to go pee becasue i knew i would miss something. Cillian Murphy can be kinda creepy, but i hear that he is hot so i guess it's ok.
The drive-in was packed this time. So much so that the geriatric golf cart nazi told me to move my car so that 2 cars could fit inbetween the pole with speakers. I did what was done in days of yesteryear and pulled the speaker off the pole and put in my car. We kicked back with our subway subs and MD 20/20 and waited for the movie. The MadDog was her idea not mine, the idea of flavored paint thinner came to mind.
She continued to warm me about drinking too much. I did pace myself but finished the bottle shortly after the 2nd movie started. As usual it had little effect. She still had prolly half a bottle when we left the drive in.
We found another cemetary to wander around in where she finished her drink and was laying on the ground with in 20 minutes like i knew she would be. She got up and we walked some more. Fleed from imaginary hornets she claims to have seen, found another open grave covered with boards and i nearly stepped on a skunk/groundhog/rabbit/cat/noctural creature. not sure what it was but it did not run away til i was about 3ft from it and i could no see it cuz she had the flashlight.
After some time we made it back to my car, where she had to lay down to keep things from spinning. me thinks she should not have finshed the bottle. we sat there and talked for quite some time. then i took her home and called it a night.
wonder what will be playing next week.

back to the drive-in
on sunday i will be going to the drive in again to see March of the Eyes and Red Penquin or is it Eye of the Penquins and Red March. either way it should be entertaining if nothing else. definately bringing our own food this time rather than raiding the snack shack no matter how tempting the 50s era commercials taunt us so.
